From 6 to 8 p.m. today, Lakewood’s Good Goat Gallery hosts a closing reception for its Lucha Libre Meets the Dead group exhibition. This unique art exhibition combines imagery of traditional Luche Libre masked Mexican wrestling with Dia de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead. The juxtaposition of this cultural iconography creates intriguing and often quite funny subject matter. The show includes work by artists from Cleveland, California, New Jersey, France and Italy. It’s a perfect stop before the Genghis Con pre-show “Dance & Draw” (dance party and drink ‘n draw) at Mahall’s 20 Lanes. Admission to the Good Goat Gallery is always free. (Usmani)
