When: Wed., April 27 2016
A spoiled Valley Girl type, Cher (Alicia Silverstone) lives in a Beverly Hills mansion and takes to matchmaking out of boredom. That’s the premise of the 1995 cult classic Clueless, which screens today at the Capitol Theatre as part of the theater’s Happy House Classic Series. Since Silverstone is a passionate vegan, the Capitol has partnered with the Daily Press to supply vegan appetizers. Admission to the film includes a complimentary mini-cocktail (or soft drink) and appetizers. The reception starts at 6 p.m. and the film shows at 7. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door.
