Colin Kane at Big Dog

When: Fri., July 29 2011
With his rapid-fire insults and quick wit, New Yorker Colin Kane could be "the next really big comedian." Sez who? None other than Dennis Miller, who recently caught Kane's act in a Big Apple club. Kane makes his Ohio debut tonight at Big Dog Theater in Cleveland Heights, and it's not likely to be a cuddle fest. "People take the shit I say seriously," he says. "But at the end of the night, it's about my fans and the connection we have in that disgusting, behind-closed-doors humor that matters to me." Tickets are $20 at ckcleveland.eventbrite.com, or $22 at the door beginning at 8 p.m. Curtain is at 9 p.m. Big Dog Theater is at 2781 Euclid Heights Blvd. in Cleveland Heights.
