Indie sensation Mitski brought her signature blend of raw emotion and theatricality to a sold-out crowd at Cleveland's Jacobs Pavilion on September 3, 2024. Touring in support of her latest album, The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, Mitski transformed the stage into a canvas of interpretive movements that perfectly complemented her deeply personal lyrics. Mitski delivered a powerful one-two punch during the encore with fan favorites "Nobody" and "Washing Machine Heart" from her critically acclaimed 2018 album Be the Cowboy.

Opening the evening was Japan’s bossa nova band, Lamp, who were the unexpected highlight of the night. Their intricate musical arrangements and smooth melodies were a perfect counterbalance to Mitski’s intensity, leaving the audience pleasantly surprised.
