Cool Collaboration

Cleveland State University and Playhouse Square are teaming up to host more than 1,100 students and faculty from colleges and universities in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and West Virginia at the 47th annual Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) for Region II. Individual awardees and representatives from selected productions will move on to the national festival in Washington DC in April. Represented schools include Albright College, Alvernia University, Carroll Community College, Cleveland State University, George Washington University, Grove City College, Slippery Rock University, and University of Toledo. The eight invitees were selected from more than 60 eligible productions throughout the region. Performances begin today and continue through Tuesday at Playhouse Square. Registration required.
