Good songs -- proven good songs -- good bands, good cause. Seven of your favorite local groups will play entire sets of material from their favorite bands to benefit the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Funds. Blind Waltz will jam on some Grateful Dead tunes. The Jack Fords (pictured) wind up a little Gram Parsons. Brian Lisik takes on Tom Petty. Pete Nischt channels Ryan Adams. Tracey Thomas interprets Dusty Springfield. Zach gets funky with Prince songs. And the Ryan Humbert Band joins together for Fleetwood Mac nuggets, including "The Chain" and "I'm So Afraid." Says Humbert, "We chose Fleetwood Mac because we didn't realize -- until listening to them -- how influenced by them we are. Lots of fun vocals and some killer melodies."
