Like Bob Dylan's Blood on the Tracks and Bruce Springsteen's Tunnel of Love, Nick Lachey's What's Left of Me is a breakup album. Unlike those two records, however, Lachey's opus chronicles his split from somebody more famous than he is: Jessica Simpson. After the Newlyweds broke up, Simpson declared her independence by hooking up with Bam Margera. Lachey, on the other hand, bared his soul on songs like "I Can't Hate You Anymore" and "What's Left of Me." The album's gut-ripping confessional style isn't ashamed to show the scars.
