Cult Classic

Thank goodness for Cleveland Cinemas’ Late Shift movie series to remind us of all the films of the ’80s we never thought we wanted to see again. Tonight, The Lost Boys screens at the Capitol Theatre at midnight. It was during the era when Corey Feldman was huge and Kiefer Sutherland was effectively portraying teenagers. The Lost Boys tells the tale of two brothers who move to a new town with their mama, and soon realize that it is frequented by vampires. Dun, dun, dun! Diane Wiest and Jason Patrick also star in this 1987 campy horror flick directed by Joel Schumacher, two years after he did St. Elmo’s Fire and 10 years before he did Batman & Robin. Tickets are $5.
