Cyanotype is a traditional blueprint process that creates vivid prints in pure Prussian blue. During this afternoon workshop, students will learn the process from start to finish. Our studio library will be utilized, mixed media will be explored, and students will create a series of cyanotype prints.
This workshop is taught by Melinda Placko, a working artist at the Hildebrandt Artist Collective, and a teaching artist at Art House Inc. Placko has her BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art, and MFA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her artwork combines drawing, painting, collage and cyanotype.
