Powerman 5000's goth-metal assault takes a tuneful turn on its fifth album, Destroy What You Enjoy. With a Billy Idol-like sneer from frontman Spider (Rob Zombie's little bro) gracing the cover and songs like "All My Friends Are Ghosts," Destroy is the band's most brazenly pop work. The glam stomp is notched up a bit, giving familiar themes of destruction and despair a sparkling sheen.
