We can’t tell you who will be in the kitchen. We can’t even tell you what they’ll be cooking. After all, Dinner in the Dark is all about keeping you, well, in the dark. What we can reveal is that this month’s edition of the popular dinner series happens tonight at Washington Place Bistro in Little Italy. We also know this: Since its October, 2010, founding by chefs Brian Okin (Fountain), Jeff Jarrett (Amp 150), and Ellis Cooley (formerly of Amp 150), the series has been bringing together teams of six various chefs to cook up bountiful dinners filled with tasty surprises. The concept not only draws sell-out crowds; it provides the chefs with a culinary rumpus room where they can collaborate and create beyond the confines of their branded restaurants. It also raises significant money for local charities: more than $100,000 to date, according to Okin. Proceeds from tonight’s 6:30 fete go to support Cleveland’s inclusionary dance troupe Dancing Wheels. Price is $65 plus tax, tip, and fees. As always, that includes appropriate cocktail and wine pairings. Reserve your seat on the website
