  • Dokken
In honor of Dokken's return to Cleveland, as it celebrates its 20th anniversary, we thought we'd pay tribute to the days when the band ruled the airwaves by offering up our list of the Top 10 Hair-Metal Songs of all time. C'mon, feel the noise.

1. Mötley Crüe, "Shout at the Devil." The best song on the best album of the era.

2. L.A. Guns, "Electric Gypsy." If the Guns were privy to the proceeds from all the speeding tickets this song caused, they wouldn't need to be playing bar mitzvahs and such today.

3. Poison, "Nothin' but a Good Time." No song better encapsulates what glam metal was all about.

4. Skid Row, "Youth Gone Wild." What you'd see at Walgreen's when the Aquanet runs out. Hair metal's most defiant rebel yell.

5. Lita Ford and Ozzy Osbourne, "Close My Eyes Forever." This cut helped show chicks that you were all sensitive and shit.

6. Cinderella, "Save Me." Save you from what, Mr. Kiefer? Low-flying aircraft crashing into your bangs?

7. Britney Fox, "Girlschool." The video had lots of hot chicks in those Catholic school-girl skirts. Essential to the kids who couldn't gain access to their dad's Playboy stash.

8. Dokken, "Burning Like a Flame." Don Dokken dressed up as a fireman in the video, causing an inferno in the pants of every girl in Parma.

9. Junkyard, "Hollywood." The best of the approximately 11,248 songs about how sleazy and tough L.A. was.

10. Vain, "Beat the Bullet." Underrated Bay Area dirtbags never really got the attention they deserved for raw, randy rockers like this.
