El Ten Eleven/Michna/Nude Pop/Debussi

When: Fri., May 17, 8:45 p.m. 2013
Price: $10 ADV, $12 DOS
It seems more likely that El Eleven Ten, a post-rock two piece that has played together for over a decade, will perform the original songs from the album they put out in late 2012, Transitions, than this year’s release of remixes, Transitions Remixed, when they hit the Grog Shop stage tonight. I could be wrong, though, since El Eleven Ten double-neck guitar-bassist/multi-tasking guru Kristian Dunn was one of many contributors to the later album. Between ever-evolving, ten-and-a-half minute epic, “Transitions,” and bass-heavy track, “No One Died This Time!” there’s sure to be lots of guitar-noodling goodness for fans to nonchalantly nod along to—once they can figure out the tricky time-signatures that the band likes to employ, at least.
