Acclaimed glass artist and Cleveland Institute of Art graduate Marc Petrovic returns to his alma mater to speak with students, and present a public workshop and lecture. The two-hour public workshop takes place Nov. 5, at 7 p.m., in the hot glass studio of CIA’s Joseph McCullough Center, 11610 Euclid Avenue. Petrovic will demonstrate hot glass sculpting, showcasing his unique hybrid of Italian murrain technique and hot sculpting. He will make a hot-sculpted bird form for his Avian Series. On Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. in the Ohio Bell Auditorium of CIA’s Gund Building, 11141 East Boulevard.
