"Finding Your Story : Using Personal Experience to Write for Kids," a Workshop with Tricia Springstubb

Only 20 Participants/ Must Pre-register by emailing [email protected] This interactive workshop will explore using the people, places, and memories important to your own childhood as springboards for writing picture books and middle grade novels that turn your experience into something more universal. Beginning and experienced writers welcome. Free and open to the public. Tricia Springstubb is the author of many books for kids, including the recent picture book Khalil and Mr. Hagerty and the Backyard Treasures and the chapter book series Cody and the Fountain of Happiness.
