Food Flick

When: Thu., Feb. 6, 8:25 p.m. 2014
One of the key statistics that director Jeremy Seifert presents in his new film, GMO OMG is that 85 percent of the corn grown in the States is genetically modified. That's a lot of fricking corn. He tries (and fails) to get an interview with the folks at Monsanto, the corporation behind the push for GMOs. But he's made an informative and educational film nonetheless. The movie makes its Cleveland debut tonight at 8:25 at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque. It screens again at 7:15 tomorrow night. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
