Authors Dan Barber and Michael Ruhlman will get together this evening at the Museum of Contemporary Art for a special, eye-opening talk about food growing, preparation practices and sustainability. Barber has been named one of Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world, and his extensive research and arguments for change in how we approach our food is all in his new book, The Third Plate. Ruhlman is a Cleveland writer and nationally known food authority. A book signing will start at 6 p.m. and the talk begins at 7 p.m. Admission is $8 in advance and $10 at the door. (Trenholme)
