Now in its fifth year, Scene’s Alefest has become a signature summer event that takes place annually at Tremont’s Lincoln Park. While we haven’t done anything like a detailed cost analysis, we’re willing to bet the price of admission for this event can’t be beat. Today between 1 and 5 p.m., you can sample over 100 beers and choose from a variety of beer cocktails. Local food vendors will also be on hand. DJ Kosher Kuts will spin tunes and the eclectic line-up of live bands includes the swing/blues band Madison Crawl, the hard rocking indie act Ragers, indie folk rockers the Black Cadillacs and local bluesman Thaddeus Anna Greene.
