Considered one of the greatest filmmakers of all-time, French writer-director Jean Renoir made more than 40 films before he died in 1979. Also known as Paris Does Strange Things, his 1956 film Elena and her Men stars Ingrid Bergman as a Polish countess who falls in love with the leader of France's radical party. The film shows today at 5:15 p.m. and tomorrow at 4:15 p.m. at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque. (Niesel)
