Grab the chopsticks and head over to Euclid’s Beach Club Bistro for Fried Rice Night. The once-a-month Asian-style chowdown may seem like a strange fit for a spot that specializes in wine and gourmet pizzas. But owner Greg Jurcisin says its all good. (“It’s been a sell out for the past four months!”) The idea came by way of Jurcisin’s chef, Dave “Big Wave” Hance, who spent five years in Hawaii perfecting his Asian-style comfort food. Starting with steamed and sticky Calrose rice, Dave dishes up the goods in five versions. Among them: Hawaiian, with pineapple, onion, egg, and soy and oyster sauces, and Thai, with bamboo shoots, ginger, scallions, Thai chiles, and fish sauce. Each is priced at $9.95; optional enhancements like shrimp, chicken, pork, beef, or veggies are available at an additional cost. Fried Rice Night starts at 5 p.m. See the full menu on the website.
