In her native Portugal, fans treat traditional folk singer Ana Moura like a rock star. And with her smokin'-hot looks, the 26-year-old "fadista" may pick up a few more followers in Cleveland tonight, when she performs as part of the Cleveland Museum of Art's Viva! series. On her second album, Aconteceu (Happening), Moura brings fado into the 21st century with love songs geared toward twentysomethings. "There's a new generation that sings lyrics related to our time," says Moura. "Then there are some older fado songs that we, the younger singers, cannot perform, because the lyrics are about a time and themes we don't identify with. Younger singers use lyrics that speak of today. We must feel what we sing."
