The Italian program at Case Western Reserve University, together with Italian Film Festivals USA and the CWRU Film Society will host the local premiere of "Fughe e approdi" by director Giovanna Taviani on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 7 p.m. in Strosacker Auditorium on the CWRU campus. The screening is free and open to the public. The film's director, Giovanna Taviani, will be present at the screening April 24 at 7 p.m. to hold a Q & A afterward. The Taviani film on April 24 at 7 p.m., "Fughe e approdi", will be the last film shown at this year's Festival. Director Taviani will come to Case Western Reserve University from the University of Colorado at Boulder and then head for Detroit to another Film Festival there before returning to Rome. Her visit is supported by the College of Arts and Sciences and Programs in Italian and Ethnic Studies.
