An avant-rock sextet featuring two drummers, two guitarists and two singers, Happy Place features members from New York's improvised, jazz, and contemporary music scenes. By its own description, the band, which records for Exit Stencil Records, a label that was founded in Cleveland, plays "tense and disquieting sound world marked by microtonally retuned guitars, skittering, irregular meters and crystalline vocal lines." Tonight's concert begins at 7 at the Bop Stop. Check the venue website for more info.
