Harvest Festival

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow, Hale Farm & Village hosts Harvest Festival, a family-friendly event offers seasonal experiences such as apple cider pressing and butter churning, and pumpkin painting. You can learn how the pioneers of the region prepared for the winter months ahead through food preservation demonstrations too. Other harvest activities can be seen at the Saltbox House herb garden (funded and maintained by the Bath Gamma Garden Club) where herbs will be harvested and preserved for use during the winter, and at First Settlement where cooking demonstrations will happen.” Admission to the Harvest Festival is $12 for adults (13 years and older), $6 for children (ages 3 to 12years) and free for children under 2 years old, active military and Western Reserve Historical Society members. Admission price to the Harvest Festival includes festival activities and access to all historic structures as well as early American craft and trade demonstrations. Café 1810 will be open and serving seasonal favorites including hot apple cider and apple cider mimosas. The MarketPlace at Hale Farm & Village will also offer seasonal hand-blown glass pumpkins, Ohio-made apple and pumpkin butter, and other locally made artisan items.
