Human trafficking, the world’s second-largest criminal activity, is increasing in our communities. We can help combat this growing threat if we arm ourselves with the facts. Learn what you need to know on Thursday, May 11, at 7 p.m., when Unity Spiritual Center Westlake presents “Human Trafficking,” the first program in its new seminar series, Unity Responds. Speakers Joan Clark, Chair of West Shore Allies Against Human Trafficking, and Lois Krebs, of Cleveland Swedenborg Chapel, will discuss the shocking statistics, reveal the worst-affected industries and areas, share resources that help fight this crime, and outline what you can do.
