Help Fight the Opioid Crisis

When: Tue., Sept. 17 2019
A special benefit event, Help Fight the Opioid Crisis will be held today at Hive Mind in Akron in partnership with the Project Dawn chapter of Summit County. The group will provide free naloxone kits and fentanyl test strips to those in attendance. Training will be available for recognizing symptoms and distinguishing between different types of overdoses, performing rescue breathing, and administering Naloxone nasal spray to reverse opioid overdose. Training will be held every half hour from 6 to 8 p.m. Admission is free.
