History Lesson

When: Tue., March 4 2014
When FDR started the Works Progress Administration in 1935, new life emerged in the American artistic landscape. Funding countless music, dramatic, art and literacy projects, many cities benefited from the WPA, including Cleveland. As part of the Happy Dog University series of lectures, tonight's presentation explores the WPA and Public Art in Cleveland. Heather Galloway, Art Conservator at the Intermuseum Conservation Association and professor at Case Western Reserve University, will educate you while you maw on some tasty dogs. The event is free and starts at 7:30 tonight. (Stoops)
