History on Tap

When: Sat., Oct. 14 2017
Today from 1 to 4 p.m., the Cleveland History Center features History on Tap, an event that features happy hour refreshments, light hors d'oeuvres and hands-on activities. Each event focuses on a special theme inspired by Cleveland's past. Today, the theme is beer, with a focus the history of the local brewing industry. There will be beer trivia, beer tastings, tacos and a chance to tip a glass with Cleveland's first tavern owner, Lorenzo Carter. Admission is $10 and includes entry to the museum; the drinks cost extra. Tickets for WRHS members are free. Details are on the website. (Niesel)
