Hogg Wild

When: Thu., Sept. 25 2014
Tom Hiddleston fans unite! Tonight, see his big-screen debut in director Joanna Hogg’s 2007 film Unrelated. The Cleveland Institute of Art is celebrating the British director’s work all weekend. In this one, a fortysomething British woman named Anna goes on a beach vacation with her friend and her friend’s brood of teenagers. Tension mounts when Anna is much more focused on the teenagers than her friend. It screens tonight at 8:50 and tomorrow night at 7:30. If that’s not your speed, check out Archipelago on Friday and Sunday. It also stars Tom Hiddleston and focuses on a beach vacation, this one to Italy’s Cornish coast. Hogg’s most recent feature, Exhbition, is about a London couple who try to sell their modernist home in the hopes of bringing life to their marriage; it screens tonight at 6:45 and Sunday night at 8:50. Tom Hiddleston’s in this one too! All tickets are $9. (Sam Allard)
