Hollywood Babble On

Bartender celebrates birthday talking about D-list stars.

Anyone who drops by Tina Brugnoletti's Birthday Party tonight will get to hear some Hollywood stories from the 32-year-old bartender — like the six months in 2000 she worked as comedian Kathy Griffin's personal assistant. "I spent a lot of time picking up her dry cleaning or wardrobe or lunch," says Brugnoletti, who took the job while studying at the Los Angeles Film School. "I learned my way around L.A. really fast."

Brugnoletti will also regale listeners with the tale of landing a walk-on part as a punk rocker on a Dharma & Greg episode. And she'll reminisce about her first filmmaking job as a camera operator on the indie flick Lightning Bug, starring Laura Prepon of That '70s Show. These days, Brugnoletti is back in her hometown to map out her next adventure. She's already formed a punk band, Pray for Us, and she's getting a reputation for making ultraspicy Bloody Marys at her six-days-a-week bartending gig. "Who knows? I could move to Paris next week," she says. "If there's a biker bar that's hiring, I'm there."
