Holocaust Survivor Band Staff Pick

Currently on display at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage, Violins of Hope features a variety of Holocaust violins that have been rescued and restored. Today at 1 p.m. at the Mandel Jewish Community Center's Stonehill Auditorium, you can hear two Holocaust survivors tell their stories of survival as they talk about playing klezmer music in what they call the Holocaust Survivor Band. The event takes place at 1 p.m. Tickets are $20, $15 for Maltz Museum and JCC members. (Niesel)
