Image-making is Everything

When: Sat., Feb. 7 2015
Artists Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin collaborate on a variety of projects. They use books, photography, video and installation art to “explore political conflict, violence and the ramifications of image-making.” Pretty heady stuff. Today at 2 p.m. in the Cleveland Museum of Arts’ Recital Hall, they’ll present Everything Was Beautiful and Nothing Hurt, a talk about the themes found in their artwork. They’ll take questions from the audience after the lecture, and a book signing and free reception in the Susan M. Kaesgen Education Gallery and Lobby will follow. It’s all part of the museum’s Contemporary Artists Lecture Series, free talks that bring “distinguished, cutting-edge contemporary artists” to Cleveland to discuss their work. (Niesel)
