Artists Julie McLaughlin and Masha Ryskin bring us a glimpse of their impressive bodies of work in this dual exhibition. Both artists have exhibited both nationally and internationally and we are happy to share their work with the community. Julie McLaughlin explores the sculptural possibilities of paper and focuses on the use of Eastern fibers in particular to create wearable paper garments and the results are stunning. Masha Ryskin uses drawing and painting, printmaking, installation, and fibers in her work, whic is concerned with landscape and its elements as a metaphor for memory, history, and passage of time.
