A regular at the Beachland Ballroom, Indigenous is the long-running blues band fronted by guitarist Mato Nanji. The guy has been making albums since the late '90s and during that time, he's toured with great blues/classic rock groups such as B.B. King, Santana, Bonnie Raitt, Joan Baez, the Indigo Girls, Jackson Browne, Dave Matthews Band, and Los Lonely Boys. His new album, Time is Coming, just came out earlier this year. Nanji's Stevie Ray Vaughan-inspired guitar work sounds particularly impressive on tunes such as "Grey Skies" and "Good at Feelln' Bad," a song the evokes the modern blues of Robert Cray. (Niesel)
