Each year, 50 million red crabs living on Christmas Island make their ancient annual voyage from the jungle to the oceans edge. At the same time, thousands of asylum seekers are detained indefinitely in a high security facility. A hybrid documentary, Island of the Hungry Ghosts "moves between the natural migration and the chaotic and tragic migration of the humans, which is in constant metamorphoses by the unseen decision-making structures." It screens tonight at 7:30 at the Capitol Theatre as part of the Cleveland Cinemas Fall Doc series. Regular admission price applies. (Niesel)
