Founded way back in 1938, the Kelly-Miller Circus has been taking its show on the road for 74 years. Today they’re stopping in Richfield. “It’s one of the few forms of entertainment that appeals to all ages,” says GM Jim Royal. “We’re a circus in a tent, which is rare to see nowadays.” The vintage experience comes complete with acrobats, jugglers, and trapeze artists from around the world, not to mention tigers, elephants, and performing dogs. Children of all ages are invited to see Lisa, a performing elephant, raise the Big Top at around 9 this morning; you can also watch the feeding of the animals after the show. Performances are set for 2, 5, and 7:30 p.m. on the grounds behind the Richfield Town Hall. Admission at the door is $7 for kids ages 2 to 11, and $15 for adults. Tickets are good for any of the three shows and parking is free. Call 330-659-9018 for more information.
