It's a Gas

When: Tue., Oct. 22, 7 p.m. 2013
An annual event, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum's American Music Masters series pays tribute to a significant musical artist. This year, to coincide with the Rolling Stones exhibit currently on display at the Rock Hall, event organizers have re-christened the event. It's now simply the Music Masters. The name change doesn't diminish its impact however. The week-long series kicks off today as author Bill Janovitz — the guy played for years in the terrific indie rock band Buffalo Tom — reads from Rocks Off: 50 Tracks that Tell the History of the Rolling Stones. The reading takes place at 7 tonight at the Cuyahoga Community College's Tommy LiPuma Center for Creative Arts in the Black Box Theatre. The event is free with a reservation. (Niesel)
