Home to a wide range of animals, Akron Zoo will showcase some of its remarkable collection tonight at Akron Civic at It's a World Wide Animal Show. The program will feature an 8-foot long boas and the Savannah monitor, a relative to our Komodo dragons. Some of Akron Zoo’s mammals that will be featured will be one of our rescued and rehabilitated opossum, North American porcupine and also the rainforest animal “Chloe” the Kinkajou. The event begins at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children aged 3 to 12. (Niesel)
