James & Madelaine McQueen: Folk Songs Through a Classical Lens

Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) continues its free Wadsworth Library concert series with James and Madelaine McQueen performing fold songs as viewed through a classical lens. Violinist and composer James Matej MacQueen is an active performer throughout the United States as well as locally, performing his own compositions alongside concerts of classical and Scottish fiddle music with occasional forays into the baroque violin. Madelaine Matej, soprano, sings professionally throughout the US and teaches voice and piano in the Cleveland area. She debuted professionally at age thirteen, singing Flora in The Turn of the Screwwith Oakland Opera Theater.
