Ashutosh Gowariker directs Jodhaa Akbar, a 2008 film about a Rajput princess who resents the political nature of her marriage to an emperor. Set in 16th century India, the film also features music from A.R. Rahman, who composed the music for Oscar winner Slumdog Millionaire.
