King Kyrie

When: Mon., Dec. 15 2014
Kyrie Irving has looked like one of the most impressive offensive players in the NBA these past couple of weeks. He was singlehandedly responsible for the Cavs’ victory over the dismal New York Knicks on Dec. 4 and has boosted his average in points while LeBron becomes ever more ball dominant. Tonight, the Cavs take on another miserable Eastern Conference opponent: the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets had high hopes after acquiring Lance Stephenson in the offseason, but they’re just not gelling as the season reaches its first-quarter mark (despite having some really awesome uniforms). Bad news for the Cavs is that, as a rule, they play to their competition, so it could be an ugly matchup. The game begins tonight at 7. Tickets start at $25. The Cavs also play the lowly Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday, also at 7, if that fits into your schedule. (Allard)
