Join the ACLU of Ohio and Karamu House, Inc. for an evening of powerful ideas and powerful writing, in honor of Banned Books Week.
Black freedom writers across nations have long used words—written and spoken—as a tool to highlight racial injustice. At this event, community members will read selected works from Black activists who were censored for using their pens to tell the truth. We will celebrate these writers and their revolutionary spirit.
