The Colors of Life, a one-night exhibit that benefits the Genesis House, a Lorain County shelter for abused women. The 35-year-old painter recalls that his teacher used to come to school black and blue. Its never left my mind, he says. She tried to hide it, but the sad thing was, everyone knew it.
