What does it mean to be home? How do stories of our experiences—separately and collectively—shape what we come to think of as our community? Join us for a panel discussion with three immigrants to the Cleveland community hosted by Peter Haas, Abba Hillel Silver Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies at Case Western Reserve University. Part of the 2017 Cleveland Humanities Festival, Making Cleveland Home is presented by Books@Work, a Cleveland-based nonprofit that creates community through literature seminars in workplaces and community settings.
