Moxie is not switching formats to hop aboard the taco craze, yet the popular east side restaurant is breaking with tradition to host a five course Don Julio Tequila Dinner. "In a somewhat ironic way, stepping outside of our comfort zone has become most comfortable for us,” says chef-partner Jonathan Bennett. The festive dinner begins with a Kona kampachi ceviche paired with Don Julio Blanco. A third course of crisp pork belly with poblano, sweet corn and heirloom tomato will be paired with Don Julio Anejo. Finishing off the feast will be churros with cinnamon, chocolate and tequila-macerated berries paired with Don Julio 70th Anniversary. Reservations can be made by calling the restaurant.
