Meet the Author: Rust A Memoir of Steel and Grit

RUST: A Memoir of Steel and Grit, welds together author Eliese Colette Goldbach's personal journey—one that includes suffering a sexual assault, battling mental illness, reckoning with a deeply-rooted faith, and working at the mill—with an intimate portrait of people in the Rust Belt, especially the blue collar backbone of our nation. Come to Lakewood Public Library's Main Auditorium to hear the author speak about the book that is being compared to J.D. Vance’s 'Hillbilly Elegy' and Tara Westover's 'Educated.' Books will be available for sale and signing at this event.
