Tonight at midnight, Cleveland Cinemas' Late Shift presents the 1977 Action-Comedy flick Smokey and the Bandit for your viewing pleasure at the Capitol Theatre. It's a highway romp featuring Burt Reynolds as a smart-Alec trucker commissioned to deliver 400 cases of Coors beer from Texarkana to Atlanta for a couple of rich Texas wheeler-dealers. It's got a gut-bustable ensemble cast (including 2013 Academy Award nominee Sally Field as a runaway bride) and what at least one irrelevant critic calls "some of the wildest car crashes ever filmed." For only $5, it's worth the groaners and the costumes. All are encouraged to pre-game with Coors products and tip your floor staff. (Sam Allard)
