Join NASA employees on Friday, July 20, to watch the Space Communications and Navigation Testbed launch to the International Space Station aboard the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency’s H-IIB Transfer Vehicle. The free event, from 7 to 11 p.m. will be held in the 100th Bomb Group Restaurant’s main parking lot and outdoor patio on Brookpark Road. The testbed, designed and built at NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, will provide an orbiting laboratory to develop new ways of communicating in space. The launch is scheduled for 10:06 p.m. EST and is being broadcast live on all NASA Television stations.
