New Year's Day Brunch

Though New Year’s Day is a holiday for many establishments, Prosperity Social Club will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to serve up a special brunch. In addition to spicy shrimp and grits, andouille-stuffed empanadas, fluffy buttermilk pancakes and other midday dining favorites, Prosperity will offer specials like Hoppin’ John Soup, Pork Schnitzel with cabbage and noodles and browned butter gravy and Salmon Cake Eggs Benedict with peppered bacon and stadium mustard hollandaise. Special cocktails include Hey, Nineteen, a drink concocted from Seagrams 7 Blended Whiskey, sweet vermouth, cranberry juice and ginger beer. Reserved seating for the New Year’s Day Brunch is recommended but not required. (Niesel)
