New York State of Mind

When: Wed., Jan. 8 2014
Billed as "the story of the men who built New York," Men at Lunch provides a closer look at the lives of the mean who appear in a famous 1932 photograph as they sit atop a steel girder and eat their lunch while taking a break from building a Manhattan skyscraper. Director Sean O Cualain researched the story behind the photograph to try to tell the tale of the immigrants who constructed the iconic building at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. The film makes its Cleveland premiere tonight at 7 at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
